As Transportation Director at the National Association of Regional Councils, Erika helped shape the organization's positions on federal surface transportation legislation and ran the coalition advocating for them. Transportation for America, where she later led partnerships, began in 2008 as a campaign to reform the federal transportation law that became MAP-21.
